About repair planning
When an inspection identifies damage or degradation, the next question is what to do about it. A sound repair depends on a clear scope, the right method and a specification that the people doing the work can follow.
We develop repair scopes and plans to the code that applies to the equipment, whether that is API 653 for storage tanks, API 510 for pressure vessels, API 570 for pipework or EEMUA 159 for above ground storage tanks. The plan sets out what is to be repaired, the method to be used and the standard the finished work must meet.
We also write the accompanying specifications and can support oversight of the repair on site, checking that it is carried out in line with the specification and the code so the equipment is returned to service with confidence.
